Qali Snowfall

So…I caught the sickness that seems to have been going around. You know the sore throat, pulsing headache, and feeling like your on the verge of an  ear infection type of cold. This bug makes it kind of hard to sleep and the mornings are miserable. Yesterday morning, which lets remember was Sunday, I was awake at 6:30 am! Not a regular time for most students to wake up at on a weekend.

Thankfully it had snowed a ton the night before so it was almost worth the dreadful sore throat and early morning to get to see the beautiful fresh snow that had fallen. The snow that fell is called “qali” snow, this is an Eskimo term I believe. Please correct me if I am wrong. Qali snow is heavy snow that sticks to absolutely everything outside. The trees get buried and the air is made still. Walking into forest was nearly magical this morning. I think the photos I took turned out well but they can’t do the dreamy scenes any justice.  I find it pretty difficult to fully capture the beauty of snowfalls. Mornings like yesterdays makes me thankful that I live in a place where it snows.

Also I would like your opinions on my new logo? Zac likes the black because it stands out more and he thinks I should  be making my name know and I like the subtlety of the white because it is barely noticeable, but does that defeat it’s purpose?
