If you are following my blog you can probably tell I spend a lot of time looking up at the sky. Since I live in the northern hemisphere, I often get to see a stunning blue sky. Lately there have been a lot of jets flying around our clear skies and I am really enjoying the sight.
I know this photo is not your typical composure with the subject being dead center but it was necessary. The reason I love the look of jets in the clear sky is because you are looking at a solid blue background and then suddenly there is a contrasting white streak breaking up the stillness. The photo is a fairly simple shot. At the same time it is not a shot you get to see often. It is a passion of mine to take photos of things that people don’t often take a second thought about like the texture of a rock, the detail of a building, or in this case the streak of a jet. This I probably because I find it important to pay attention and appreciate the little things in life. Enjoy the photo and remember to keep your head up!
