Wild Bush and the Wasp
I recently visited some of my boyfriends family in a small town called Penhold in Southern Alberta. Since the town is small enough to walk from one end to the other within 10 minutes you are never far from a sprawling farmers field. The landscape out there is just beautiful. On this day we were also blessed with some of the hottest weather we have had all summer. While everyone was hanging out inside playing video games, which is not something I can be entertained with for long, I decided to go out and enjoy a nature photo walk.
It is so easy to get wrapped up in the stunning beauty of the never ending prairie land and take only wide shots of your surrounding scenery. But with my photography I like to focus on the small things. I love to draw attention to the stuff that normally goes unseen. Such as rocks, bugs, and even flowers.
